D-r Julika Novkova has a Ph.D. in Organizational Psychology and a Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior and Counseling. She is a Business Psychologist, Executive trainer, and Organizational consultant with more than 10 years of experience in the field of human and processes management in SMEs. In 2010 she started her own brand – Juls’ Psychology.
In 2019 she started the English version of the platform – Julspsy.com.
D-r Novkova has been a research associate at the University Center for Conflict Management and Organizational Research at the Faculty of Philosophy, Department of Social, Work and Educational Psychology, Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski” form 2012 to 2019.
After graduating in 2012, she started working at the Center. She has participated in various research projects related to the fields of leadership, management, entrepreneurship, and innovation with an accent on the profile of women managers and women entrepreneurs. She is currently writing her Ph.D. thesis in the field of personal determinants of innovational attitudes among managers and managers-entrepreneurs.
In 2013/2014, she started lecturing as Assistant Professor in the Bachelor Program of Psychology in the Department of Social, Work and Educational Psychology in the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. She teaches the practicums and workshops in Industrial Psychology. She was a guest lecturer at the summer practicums and workshops for students in the Organizational Behavior Master Program in 2012, 2013, and 2014.
In 2013, she became part of the teaching staff of the Human Resource Management And Leadership Behavior Master Program at the University Of Finance, Business And Entrepreneurship as Assist. Prof. She teaches the practicums and workshops in Social Psychology, Manager As Organization Leader, and Entrepreneurship And Innovations. She has participated in national and international conferences. She has various publications in the fields of management, leadership, and entrepreneurship.
Since 2020 she is a part of the Network Emprove, which supports women’s wellbeing and empowerment. She is a mentor of victims of domestic violence, helping them recover and feel empowered, free, and independent.
Since 2009, she has been working with children deprived of parental care. The main direction of her work is support for children with disabilities, establishing programs for support and overcoming delays, acquiring basic motor, cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral qualities and skills.
In 2008, she received a certificate for trainer and has been leading training and workshops in various fields ever since. Her work focuses on managers and managers-entrepreneurs and on the development of training programs specializing in business running and management.
Currently, she is a Certified Personal and Business Trainer and leads individual sessions with middle-level and TOP-managers, and freelancers, who are representatives of small and medium businesses.
